Satoyo is a postdoctoral researcher who completed her PhD in the Tetsuji Kakutani lab at the University of Tokyo, studying epigenomics and H3K4 methylation. She is supported by HFSP and JSPS fellowships. In the Monroe Lab, she studies how H3K4 methylation is associated with reduced mutation rates in plants.
