Lily is a Plant Science major focusing on plant breeding, genetics, and genomics. In the Monroe Lab, she assists with HiFi DNA extractions for Arabidopsis thaliana and Pistacia vera. She also works on plant micropropagation and transformation in the Walnut Improvement Program and Dandekar Lab.
